Al's Steamboat as of late May, 1997
Pictures of the bow show extra wood added to the side of the boat that was needed since the long pieces would not twist far enough to give a smooth surface. The extra wood was epoxied on and held with a screw until hardened. The stem is made by laminating 1/16inch oak strips to the bow. The clamp for the Stem is screwed in to the side of the boat..
